What type of sofa is best for not absorbing odors?

Right now, we have a sofa cover and our westie terrier is always getting it out of place and stinking it up. Even though we bathe our dog and wash the sofa cover reguarly, it seems to always have an odor. I think it’s the material. I was thinking about buying a leather sofa. Any suggestions?

Leather being a natural hide product will absorb some odors. Vinyl might be better. They make some real good imitation leathers now.
