I have a sofa that is fabric with pastel shabby chic colors in it I don’t want to damage it. I want to remove the light staining on the cushions and want to wash the pillows but I believe they maybe just a bit too big for my washer. Also how do I refresh the sofa up? Febreeze doesn’t do the trick (I’ve tried already). The sofa smells mufti like a dark old basement! Is there some machine I can rent to clean it? HELP! (I don’t have a lot of money to waist on thisI am looking for the most cost efficient way)

I was going to suggest Febreeze, but apparently i am late on that.
Have you thought about steam cleaning it?
Sometimes you can rent steam cleaners at Meijers or other grocery stores.

I’m not sure about getting rid of stains - although carpet shampoo is quite good. Fabreeze I thought was a good way to get rid of odours……works for me anyway!

Sprinkle it thoroughly with baking soda. If you have someone to help you, set it outside on a sunny day. Then vacuum off soda.
