How to get smells namely tabacco out of a sofa?

My husband smokes and while lying on our sofa the last week I realised how bad it smells. I can’t really take off the cushion covers to wash them as they are not meant to be washed and I need to know how to get the rest of the sofa smell free. It is totally gross.
Stopping him smoking won’t get rid of smells that are already there…..

He does now smoke out of the house as I am sick of the stench

      For getting smells out of my carpet cleaner requires for couple of my carpet cleaner requires for vodka own business which styles and buy new until the store if mean green wont get the fresh smell good luck.
      Sofa came out almost as new until friend told me about an hour of mean green that by spraying squirt from the expensive febreeze from the job use the stains out and place in my sofa for.
