How do you thoroughly disinfect a leather sofa?

Florida w/ Questions asked:
A friend has offered me a sofa - can’t take it with her on a move. It is only a year old and very nice. BUT, she has 6 dogs. And all the problems that come with that. They have had mites, fleas, I am sure they have probably peed on the sofa, etc.

I am wondering if there is anything you can use on a leather sofa - either store bought or made-at-home that I can use to clean and disinfect the leather.
Thanks.

I would spray a flea/mite killer on the non-leather parts of the couch. Then I would use a leather cleaner on the leather, but you can also use Clorox wipes on the leather as long as you rinse it afterward. Just make sure that you spray the carpet where you will place the couch also with the flea/mite killer.

My leather sofas with leather cleaner to condition and then use leather cleaner that in the pet aisle or specialist pet aisle or specialist pet aisle or specialist pet aisle or.
Sofa air out for obvious stains etc if there are any would sponge clean those.
