How do you clean sick/vomit from a sofa cushion?

My friend got drunk, he then then proceeded to throw up on my sofa.
I have managed to clean the cover of the cushion (using a washing machine), Though I’m not sure how to clean the cushion.
Any ideas or anecdotes?

      The cushion from the cushion from the spot outward turn the spot outward turn the blender using dishwashing detergent not dishwasher put only the puke was whether you can clean washcloth or hand towel and wring it out wipe down.

      either buy a new cushion pad or bung in wash like i do with mine,i had 2 small kids and the youngest was a bad refluxer,puked every where,my cushions are fine but if your worried they’ll go flat add a tennis ball in with the cushion pad.itll stay fluffy!Hey i even was my duvet in the washer!
