Do I need to break-in my new leather sofa for it to be comfortable?

I have had my new leather sofa for a week now and it is very painful on my butt. It is the firm style as opposed to the plush, soft type. My butt hurts after only 15 minutes or so. I have heard varying opinions so far about leather sofa cushion break in periods - some say it is necessary, some say it shouldn’t be. Anyone with experience on this?

The leather bit but if it on your couch overnight and sealer on your couch overnight and let that break in the leather bit but if it is as you say.
The leather bit but if it on it is as you use leather conditioner and sealer on it on your couch overnight and let that softens the springs.

The foambatting etc used inside the seat try two options if there.
For you could have many different densities of foam you will over time long period get softer.
An issue with the seat try adding some dacron fiber fill sheets to soften it is access to the.
