Best way to clean a sofa that does not have removeable covers?

I have a solid chocolate-brown colored sofa from ikea that needs some freshening up. The cushions and pillows do not have removable covers. What is the best way for me to clean the cushions and pillows? What method/product would you recommend to freshen the smell? Are there any good pillow fluffing tricks? Thanks!
